New AMS for Enhance
After almost two years of listening to users complain about their interface, Enhance has just released their new AMS(Account Management System). Our sources, who work with all of the CPC engines everyday, think this may be the best system yet. The new AMS is easy to use and fairly intuitive, despite there being a slew of documentation necessary to help anyone get the most out their new system. First, you are invited to view a fairly slick movie on how the system works. The movie does not show you everything, but in the four minutes it takes to view it, you will have a pretty good feel for what you have gotten into. If that is not enough there is a 7 page FAQ followed by a 43 page PDF. Victor, head of Seemoresearch.com customer service department, was impressed by the new sub-account capabilities. When asked about the new AMS Enhance, spokesperson Mark Peterson said, “The new system was developed to provide easier set-up and registration for advertisers, while offering expanded reporting resources, along with enhanced profiling and account management features. In short, the new system was designed to provide easier, faster, and more comprehensive services than what was previously in-place.†We say mission accomplished. Like all missions, there was some start up drama. Due to the enormous size of the database, the reporting was several days behind. This issue lasted only for a few days. When asked about the “report†problem Peterson said, “This has been resolved and was a temporary delay associated with transition to new system. It is important to note that customer campaigns continued to run accurately throughout the transition.†Enhance is addressing the needs of agencies, aggregators of advertisers and companies like Seemoresearch.com by developing an API, application program interface, for a XML. Many of the tier 2 search engines that compete with Enhance do not have this capability. The updated API is currently planned for availability later this spring, according to Peterson.
